The advanced practice clinician in the palliative care clinical coordinator role is responsible for the development, coordination, evaluation and expansion of the palliative care program.
1. Advanced practice clinician (nurse practitioner)with masters degree and licensed in the state of Utah
2. Three years of clinical experience as nurse preferred.
3. Must have national certification as Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACHPN) or complete within 24 months after hire.
4. One year administrative experience including program evaluation, budget preparation, compliance and marketing preferred.
5. Experience in health care education required.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Ability to collect and analyze data.
8. Ability to develop and expand programs.
9. Ability to supervise others and work in a team setting.
10. Computer competency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
