JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for planning, implementation and evaluation of ambulatory nursing orientation and educational activities for nursing personnel based on identified learning needs in collaboration with Nursing Education & Administration, Nurse Managers and Staff Nurses. Responsible for ongoing, professional development of nurses in the outpatient setting. Provides consultation int he clinical field of expertise with CCF and the professional community. Works as a float for the ambulatory clinics prn.

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree required; BSN strongly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in a clinical specialty. Knowledge of adult learning theory, group process skills, leadership and teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonnal skills required. Presentation skills required. Ability to use a variety of computer applications required: EMR, Word, Powerponit, Excel, etc. Minimum three years recent nursing experience required with demonstrated cllinical expertise. Clinical nursing expereince preferred. Previous experience with education programming preferred. Current licensure in the State of Ohio as Registered Nurse. Certification in specialty preferred. Requires full range of motion; manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range. Requires some expsoure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
