Clinical Nurse Specialist needed for CVICU. MUST have CVICU experience and Masters Degree.
The Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist functions in the role of competent clinician and educator who role models excellence in critical care/cardiovascular nursing. The Clinical Nurse Educator serves as a mentor for RNs and promotes competency attainment and advancement within nursing. In collaboration with health care team members, the Clinical Nurse Educator incorporates Performance Improvement results into planning and providing continuing education.
Requirements:
Current Pennsylvania RN licensure or Temporary Practice Permit required
Master's Degree in nursing, education or related field required
Clinical Nurse Specialist certification preferred
ACLS and PALS certifications required
ACLS instructor certification preferred
CCRN certification preferred
Three years current critical care experience with demonstrated competency in cardiovascular critical care required
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
