The Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist functions in the role of competent clinician and educator who role models excellence in critical care/cardiovascular nursing. The Clinical Nurse Educator serves as a mentor for RNs and promotes competency attainment and advancement within nursing. In collaboration with health care team members, the Clinical Nurse Educator incorporates Performance Improvement results into planning and providing continuing education.

Will report to the Manager of the Heart Center

Qualifications:
o Customer service attitude required
o Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license or Temporary Practice Permit required
o Master degree in nursing, education or related field required
o Clinical Nurse Specialist certification preferred
o ACLS and PALS certifications required
o ACLS Instructor certification preferred
o CCRN certification preferred
o Three years current critical care experience with demonstrated competency in cardiovascular critical care required
o Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills

$25,000 Package-Includes $5,000 for relocation. The remainder can be used for Loan Forgiveness. If the candidate does not have loans, then the remainder will go to sign on or can be split between sign on and relocation.
